Fees
In 2020, Medicare removed the ear wax removal procedure rebate. However, there is still a Medicare rebate for the consultation. As a result, our fee structure changed on 1 August 2020.

*Procedures are only performed when clinically relevant. Fees are payable at the end of each visit.
**The Extended Medicare Safety Net gives you a higher Medicare rebate if you or your family have spent over a certain amount on out-of-hospital medical services in a calendar year. Further details are available on the Services Australia website – Link
The preferred method of payment is EFTPOS (savings or cheque). Visa and Mastercard card payments cost us about 1% in merchant fees and these payments may attract a 0.5% surcharge. If you have registered your bank details with Medicare, your Medicare claim will be electronically submitted and the Medicare rebate will be directly transferred from Medicare to your bank account within 1 business day.
Non Attendance Fee
If you do not attend an appointment and do not contact us to cancel, you may be charged a fee of $20.00. The preferred way to cancel is to reply to the booking confirmation email. Alternatively, you may email to reception@earclean.com.au
